We can use our minds to do what’s good for us
There are two kinds of challenges we face.
One kind of challenge can be a new or unusual problem.
For example; We don’t know why we are sick, a new disease suddenly sweeps across the world.
Novel challenges call for discovery, creativity, invention.
As humans we are really good at coming up with new ideas to combat new challenges.
But many of the setbacks in our lives are not caused by new problems, but rather old challenges that continue to hold us back.
How do we overcome this second type of challenge?
Many issues in life are caused by problems where the solution was discovered hundreds of years ago.
For example; Think about the leading causes of death in most countries. They can be traced back to smoking, diet, or a sedimentary lifestyle.
We know what we ought to do to live better.
We should eat right and exercise. Get a good nights rest. Live within our means. Save for retirement. Invest in good companies.
Why is it so hard to actually do those things?
I spend everyday helping people become better investors.
From my experience, I believe it all comes back to fundamentals.
The small simple principles practiced repeatedly to build success and overcome familiar foes that keep us from achieving our full potential.
I know how to get you on the right track and overcome common pitfalls.
